What's it take to break a man,
to grasp a mind that's full of lead,
to steal a young girls frozen heart,
and tear a family straight apart?
It takes a soul that's cold as stone,
a silhouette that's always alone,
a mind that plays the sickest games,
a head that never hangs in shame.

To most this seems impossible,
a wicked only in Hell below,
but if I showed you where it lies,
to warn you out of its cruel sight,
would you run? Would you hide?
Would you step to someone's side?
Or clear your mind and say goodbye,
and unleash your beast inside?
This. Poem. Was. So. Hard. To. Write!!!

Jeez, the first stanza was alright, but the second one took forever to do. And I still don't get it quite, but my friends liked this version the best.

Basically, the moral behind this, is that there's evil everywhere. You cannot escape it. Why? Because every single one of us has a beast inside, a little sliver of sin although we crave heaven.

Hope you enjoy!~

EDIT- as usual, changed the formatting.
